Some came dressed in threadbare college jerseys, or with helmets barely secured to their heads with jump-rope-like chin straps. A few came without their teeth - the consequences of a puck or stick gone awry years ago. No matter the age or the skill level, most of the men - and women - who braved subfreezing temperatures at the second Rocky Mountain Pond Hockey Championships were warmed by fond childhood memories.
